Delhi. With the view of solving the problem of inordinate delay in the disbursement of salary and other dues of the employees of the aided schools, A Delegation of Delhi Adhyapak Parishad (A unit of ABRSM) headed by the President Ved Prakash and the General Secretary Rajesh Kumar Paliwal along with the Secretary of the Aided Wing Manooj I Saxena and also the Organising Secretary Arun Sharma and the Treasurer Nirankar met the Honourable Director of Education on 23rd July 2023 at his office in Old Secretariat to draw his attention to the severe hardship inflicted upon the employees of the aided schools of Delhi due to non payment of their salaries and other legitimate dues on time. The Directorate gave a patient and sympathetic hearing to the delegation and assured of positive, affirmative and speedy action in the matter. The Director personally and directly marked the comments on our representation for issuing SOP for the same.

Apart from the problems suffered by the permanent staff, the delegation also raised the matter of delay in the disbursement of salary of the Guest Teachers provided by the Directorate in the aided schools. We are hopeful and expect that the problems confronting our brothers and sisters in these schools including the permanent staff as well as Guest Teachers will be solved soon as the directions have been issued in the matter for initiating steps for releasing the current dues as well as arrears of the employees.
