New delhi. Kartavya Bodh Diwas was organised by the Aided Wing of Delhi Adhyapak Parishad under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh. The programme was presided over by the Secretary of the Aided Wing Manoj Saxena and was compered by Arun Sharma the Organising Secretary. The event was celebrated with great and unmatched joy and exuberance not seen before in the history of educational arena. Nearly 90 participants from five different schools and 3 zones participated in the event. The programme started with lighting of lamp followed by Saraswati vandna.
The main speaker Deepak Goswami, urged the teachers to connect with their students emotionally to achieve the optimum results. He described the role of teachers as the most challenging in the present century.
The Chief Guest Niraj Kumar Singh called upon the teachers to fulfill their responsibility towards society selflessly. The special guest Ms Archna Aggarwal explained the meaning and importance of word Kartavya.
Towards the end Manooj I Saxena who presided over the function drew a distinction between “duty” and “kartavya” and elaborated that while duty is done for emoluments, the kartavya is performed when one goes beyond the duty and adds a humane and moral touch to one’s duty. He asked the teachers and all members of society to perform their kartavya honestly considering it as their religious duty.
He also thanked everyone for making the programme a resounding success.
The programme ended with the recitation of Kalyan Mantra by all the participants.
